How It Started

SeventyTwoClub started with one person, a love for golf, and a simple idea: build something golfers could feel like they belonged to.

The original name was going to be "Scratch 72." But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that name was excluding most of the people I wanted to reach. A scratch golfer shoots near par — and that's not most of us.

So it became SeventyTwoClub.

Because whether someone shoots a 72 or a 102, we're all out there chasing the same thing.

What We Believe

Golf is better when everyone feels included and feels like they're a part of something.

The game wasn't built for one kind of golfer. It was built for all of us — the ones who play every weekend, the ones who pick up a club twice a year, the ones who've never broken 100 and the ones who've broken par. The score doesn't matter. The love of the game does.

That's the brand. Not a score. Not a handicap. A shared pursuit, and a community of people who love the game — whatever their game looks like.

What We Want

We want people to feel a sense of belonging. To have an emotional connection to the apparel they're wearing. To be proud to represent the game and the community — and proud to be a part of SeventyTwoClub.
